Tears, Idle Tears

Tears, idle tears

I know just what they mean,

Tears from the depths of some divine despair

Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,

In looking on the fallen trees,

 And thinking of the days

 that are no more.

A parody of Alfred Lord Tennyson

Five weeks following the wrecking wind, the Fairgrounds pay the painful price.
