All winter long I wait for a day like today
when the sun shines in my garden
creating dappled spots
and full-on sun spots
and spots of deep shade.
Don't get me wrong, I do love a day like today
but, sometimes I need the shade.
It keeps moving, though,
and I have to keep moving, too.
It was sunny here this morning but,
it looks like the sun is over there now.
The stone is cool
and so am I.
